NueGo introduces electric intercity buses in 5 cities. Today, NueGo announced that its electric intercity buses would begin service in 5 Indian cities.
NueGo Bus Price in India
For its initial offer, the company will charge INR 349 per seat on the Bhopal-Indore route. The company statement claims that NueGo, the flagship brand of GreenCell Mobility, will provide intercity travelers with a simple booking process, exceptional ride quality, and an enjoyable in-cabin experience while ensuring a greener ride.
NueGo Bus Routes
The electric bus coaches will travel between Bhopal and Indore every hour, according to the official announcement. In Indore, the coaches will travel through Star Square, Radisson Square, Vijay Nagar, and Sarwate bus stand, while the route in Bhopal will follow ISBT, Bhopal Railway Station, Lal Ghati, and Sehore.
NueGo Bus Schedule
According to the official statement, NueGo electric buses have 12 schedules between Chennai and Tirupati, 12 schedules between Chennai and Pondicherry, and over 30 schedules between Chennai and Bengaluru.
These buses will depart from Koyambedu in Chennai, the Majestic in Bangalore, the PRTC Bus Stand in Pondicherry, and the RTC Bus Stand in Tirupati. Customers can reserve seats in Chennai-Tirupati and Chennai-Pondicherry for an introductory price of Rs 319 per seat. Through the official website or other online services like the NueGo app, Paytm, Redbus, and Abhibus, tickets can be purchased.
NueGo Bus Review
According to the press release, the electric coaches will undergo 25 rigorous safety inspections, including mechanical and electrical tests. Before each trip, the NueGo coaches will be sanitized, and the coach drivers will undergo breathalyzer inspections.
Services from NueGo include geolocation of drop points, live coach tracking, and monitored in-coach CCTV surveillance. In heavy traffic, these electric coaches can travel 250 kilometers on a single charge while running their air conditioners. Due to the start of the services, these coaches have already traveled 2,00,000 km of road trails over the past few months, according to the official release.
In some cities, NueGo offers first-class lounges as well as customer support & baggage handling services. The NueGo services will also provide a specially curated menu of food and drink in the lounges and on board. The goal of NueGo is to encourage inter-city travel using environmentally friendly public transportation that emits no tailpipe emissions. Satish Mandhana, Director of GreenCell Mobility, asserts that NueGo will offer a comprehensive travel experience through its world-class electric coach services.
