Audi India Retails 5530 Units, Up 88% From January to September of This Year

In the third quarter of 2023, 2,056 retail units were delivered by Audi India; SUVs saw an 187% growth.

In the first nine months of this year, German luxury car maker Audi India sold 5,530 units, representing an 88% increase in sales.

According to the latest automobile news and a press release from the company, positive growth has resulted from the introduction of the new Audi Q8 e-tron, Audi Q8 Sportback e-tron, Audi Q3 and Audi Q3 Sportback, as well as the ongoing demand for the Audi A4, A6, Audi Q5, and the top-tier vehicles, Audi Q7, Audi Q8, Audi A8 L, Audi S5 Sportback, Audi RS5 Sportback, Audi RS Q8, Audi e-tron GT, and Audi RS e-tron GT.

Within the same time frame, the Audi e-tron range has grown by 42% and the SUV range by an astounding 187%.

As per The head of Audi India, Balbir Singh Dhillon, stated: “We anticipate this growth to continue on the back of sustained demand for our best-sellers with the approaching festive season.” Strong demand, growth in the luxury car market, changing demographics, and advantageous economic conditions are all contributing to the robust sales performance. Currently, 4 out of 5 consumers are returning Audi buyers, which indicates that our clientele is content. We intend to end the year with high double-digit growth because we are on a growth path and are focused on building a profitable, sustainable business.

The pre-owned car business, Audi India Approved: plus, experienced a 63% growth from January to September of 2023. By the end of 2023, there will be 27 Audi Approved: plus locations nationwide, up from the current 25 locations across all major cities. The brand is growing.
