Germany's i-Force Plant Is Unveiled by BMW, Jaya Hind Industries, and LMG Manufacturing

LMG Manufacturing’s new facility in Saxony-Anhalt, in partnership with BMW and Jaya Hind Industries, highlights innovation and forward-thinking mobility solutions, promoting regional economic development and generating new job opportunities.

LMG Manufacturing, In Collaboration With BMW And Jaya Hind Industries, Unveils i-Force Plant In Hoym, Germany. LMG Manufacturing’s new facility in Saxony-Anhalt, in partnership with BMW and Jaya Hind Industries, highlights innovation and forward-thinking mobility solutions, promoting regional economic development and generating employment opportunities.

LMG Manufacturing GmbH, a joint venture between BMW and Jaya Hind Industries, opens the i-Force plant in Hoym, Germany. After just ten months of construction, the aluminium die-casting specialist LMG Manufacturing opened its new production hall in Hoym/Seeland.

Saxony-Anhalt has long been a desirable location for businesses in the automotive supply sector because of its central location and easy access to major manufacturers, according to Sven Schulze, the state’s minister for economic affairs, tourism, agriculture, and forestry. The company is addressing the challenges of structural change in the industry with creative solutions, as evidenced by LMG Hoym’s expansion of its location. The fact that the state of Saxony-Anhalt expeditiously granted approvals allowed for the project’s quick implementation makes me very happy. This prompts additional economic growth in the area in addition to the creation of new jobs. As a result, we will move more quickly and maintain Saxony-Anhalt’s lead.”

A fully owned subsidiary of JHI International BV, a company in the Dr. Abhay Firodia Group of Companies based in India, is LMG Manufacturing GmbH. LMG Manufacturing GmbH serves European clients with high-precision electromobility parts from its East German location.

“75 years of German-Indian partnership and the technical expertise of the parent company, Jaya Hind Industries, with its strong vertical integration of technologies, lead LMG into a future of electromobility,” states Prasan Firodia, Managing Director of Jaya Hind Industries, India.

With the opening of the production hall, series production officially gets underway. The staff count rose from 140 to 240 in just nine months. Consequently, LMG has grown to become a major employer in the area.

“With the new production hall, LMG in Hoym is relying on innovative and future-shaping technologies in the field of mobility,” states Markus Bauer, the Salzland district’s district administrator. The company, which supplies well-known automakers, is a great fit for the Salzland district, which is a desirable place for business, residence, and research.
