At its plant in Vithalapur, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India unveiled its third assembly line, boosting its capacity by 6.5 lakh units.
At its fourth two-wheeler plant in Vithalapur, Gujarat, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has opened a new third assembly line, increasing capacity by 6.5 lakh units.
“We have inaugurated a new 3rd Assembly Line at our Vithalapur facility in Gujarat today, marking a significant milestone,” stated Tsutsumu Otani, President, Managing Director, and CEO of Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India. By carrying out this capacity expansion plan, HMSI will considerably increase its total annual production volumes, enabling it to serve customers more quickly and efficiently. The Gujarat plant of HMSI manufactures scooter models for both local and international markets, enabling us to maintain our position as the global leaders in the scooterization trend.
